Abdul Rahman Park is an enchanting and captivating island of Sabah
that consists of 5 beautiful islands namely Mamutik, Manukan,
Sulug, Sapi and Gaya. The largest island in Tunku Abdul Rahman
Park is Gaya Island and the second largest is Manukan Island where
it is the site of the Parks’ headquarters and office with resort
type facilities. These islands take about 15-20 minutes from the
mainland of Kota Kinabalu. Coral reefs with colourful marine life,
mangrove, lowland tropical rainforest plus beautiful beaches with
calm and clear blue water surround them. Explore at own leisure
the nature trail to some of the islands where you could see animals
such as bird’s monkeys, squirrels, hombills and more rarely the
bearded pig and to study the variety of flora on the island.

Itinerary
A 10-20 minutes boat ride from Kota Kinabalu takes you to the
Tunku Abdul Rahman Park of five islands where clear, blue sea
and white sandy beaches awaits you. Choose any one of the five
islands for swimming, snorkelling, diving, sunbathing or simply
relaxing under shady palms at your own pace.
