TEMBURONG
NATIONAL PARK
Deep
in the Borneo virgin jungle among the mountain ranges is the
Temburong National Park about 3 minutes downstream of Kuala
Belalong Research Centre. Its pristine forest is a sight to
be enjoyed.
Only
here can an almost complete isolation be experienced with no
other sounds of nature. One of the trails leads to the solid
structure that stand among the tall trees with walkways among
the canopy of the forest.
Peradayan
Forest Reserve - Bukit (Hill) Patoi the most accessible areas
of rainforest covering 1,070 hectares in Brunei. Classified
as a conservation forest. The trail leads to the 330 meters-
peak of Bukit Patoi.

Depart
early in the morning from Bandar Seri Begawan by speedboat,
you will pass picturesque Kampong Ayer and enter an intriguing
labyrinth of tributaries that are lined palm jungle. The Wandering
waterways actually take you through the neighbouring Malaysian
State of Sawara. After a journey of about 50 minutes, the inland
riverine town of Bangar is reached, where you will be taken
on a tour which includes visits to remote longhouse and an mini
replica of Belalong Park. Enjoy refreshments at the local coffee
shop before returning to Bandar Seri Begawan.
